The Website Accessibility allows users to adjust the content and color of their course pages. This adjustments will only be visible by these users and will not change course pages for other users. The user can either make adjustments in the Content and Color tabs or choose a Profile, which will automatically set the website

Alternative formats

Due to the variety of viewer needs per students, alternative formats can be manually generated by a student to meet their individual needs. Instructors can also toggle Visible to Students ON or OFF to enable or disable Student access to alternative formats. Course Reports are generated to provide high-level summary of the accessibility across a course.  Instead of reviewing files individually, Course Reports summarize accessibility data for all scanned content within a course. When uploading files in Brightspace an accessibility report is generated automatically. It evaluates the uploaded content against established accessibility standards such as contrast, font sizes, alternative text, missing headline structures, hyperlink context issues, and more.
