Adding links to existing Assignments, Discussions and/or Quizzes in Content

Guide Adding links to existing Assignments, Discussions and/or Quizzes in Content

This guide assumes you have already created an Assignment, Discussion, and/or Quiz. If not, you can find the guides here:

1. Navigate within the course to the Content menu

   

2. Go to the desired Unit/Lesson/Folder on the left side of the screen and click ‘Add Existing’.
   

   

3. In this menu, choose whether you want to add an Assignment, Discussion, or Quiz.

   

Note
With the ‘Add Existing‘ option, you create links to existing Assignments, Discussions, or Quizzes. If you want to create a new Assignment, Discussion, or Quiz, it is recommended to go to the folder in Content where you want to create it, click ‘Create New‘, and follow the steps.

Assignments

1. Click ‘Assignment’ in the menu.
2. Then click the Assignment you want to add.
3. The Assignment is now added to the correct Unit/Lesson/Folder.

In this example, the names of the Assignments have been removed.

Discussions

1. Click ‘Discussion’ in the menu.
2. Then click the Discussion you want to add.
3. The Discussion is now added to the correct Unit/Lesson/Folder.

In this example, the names of the Discussions have been removed.

Quizzes

1. Click ‘Quiz’ in the menu.
2. Then click the Quiz you want to add.
3. The Quiz is now added to the correct Unit/Lesson/Folder.

In this example, the names of the Quizzes have been removed.
