Links
The Links tool allows instructors to provide learners with links to relevant websites, resources, and other online content directly within a Brightspace course. This can help learners quickly access important external resources without having to search for them themselves.
Instructors manage the Links through Course Admin, while learners access the Links through Course Tools in the course navbar.
Accessing Links as an instructor
To add or manage links, instructors access the Links tool through Course Admin.
- In the course navbar, select Course Admin.
- In Course Admin, locate and select Links.
- You will now see the Links management page. From here, you can add new links and manage existing links.
- Edit an existing link
- Delete a link that is no longer relevant
- Add additional links
- Update links when course information or resources change
You can return to the Links tool in Course Admin to manage the links you have already created.
How learners see the Links
Learners access the Links through Course Tools in the course navbar.
Learners can use the Links tool to find and access websites, resources, and other online content that has been provided by the instructor. They do not need access to Course Admin or any instructor-specific settings.
Only the links intended for learners are displayed.
